CANCELLED TOUR (COMPANY CCX)
Aloha – Apologies your tour was canceled today – Mother Nature had other plans. This can happen for a number of reasons, with the most common one being safety. Sometimes the winds are too strong, sometimes surf comes up and creates a dangerous shorebreak, and sometimes it rains / thunderstorms. We take safety seriously, and will be patient until things get better.
We do our best to advise you soon as we know. Guides arrive on site typically about 25 minutes prior to check in, assess the conditions. Sometimes things can change between the time of guide arrival and guests arrival……… apologies if you travelled and found out things are a no-go.
We know you are busy and may / may not be able to reschedule.
Options are:
- Reschedule to another day, time, and perhaps location
- Receive a full refund (from us if you booked directly, or by the platform you booked ticket through)
We do need to know so would appreciate it if you would let us know at your earliest possible convenience.
Procedure:
- Call / Text us at (808) 875-4848 and advise your wishes, and we will do our best to accommodate any rescheduling. If a refund is requested, we will take care of this straight away.
CUSTOMER MISSED TOUR / CANCELLED INSIDE CANCELLATION POLICY
Understand you missed your tour today – we get it, things happen. However please understand all the resources we’re in place to honor your reservation for your originally reserved day. While we do sympathize with your situation, this late notice does not allow us to resell the inventory, and making it difficult to reallocate resources elsewhere.
Our policy for missed tours:
Your ticket is consumed (considered used) as outlined in our cancellation policy. All resources were/are in place for that time and place. Don’t worry, we’ve got a Plan B! ….. Here’s how we can still likely get you out on the water (no guarantees);

You’ve got five (5) days to try and catch a ride with us on a standby basis (if we have room).

Give us a text / call at around 5:30 PM the day before you want to join and will advise of availability. Only at this time will we be able to confirm you – not before.

There’s a small rebooking fee of $30 per person (bring cash – our card reader gets seasick ) payable to guide prior to your rescheduled activity.
It’s not perfect, but hey, we’re doing our best to keep the aloha flowing!
