During whale season, our Turtle Reef Discovery activity becomes our Whale Watch tour! This is a really inspiring trip! There is nothing like viewing a Humpback Whale from ocean level in a kayak, it’s a breathtaking experience! Whales seem to appreciate the quietness of a kayak compared to a boat and they tend to approach us more. (Of course, we don’t approach them, they approach us!!).

Our Pali trip paddles along the “Pali” towarsd the lighthouse. The remote trip offers snorleing in the “Coral Gardens” area and paddles along this remote and rugged coastline.

Olowalu is about six miles south of Lahaina town and has acces to some pretty reef systems. The shortest of the two west-side kayak tours, the Discovery Tour takes you on a morning exploration of the Ukumehame coastline. Enjoy the warm sunshine, the long expansive sandy beaches, and reefs teeming with fish. Our friendly, experienced guides will tell you tales of the area and take you to some very special places to snorkel and kayak.

From late December to late to about mid April, we enjoy the company of our seasonal winter residents – the Humpback Whale.
